॥ ॐ गुरवे नमः ॥
A house of Jyotish, true to the shastras.
Vedic Sadhu casts every chart the way the rishis taught: exact reckoning of the sky, read by the classical rules, and written so your whole family can understand it.
Our tradition
यथा शिखा मयूराणां नागानां मणयो यथा ।Vedanga Jyotisha
तद्वद्वेदाङ्गशास्त्राणां गणितं मूर्धनि स्थितम् ॥ As the crest on the peacock and the jewel on the serpent, so does the reckoning of the heavens stand at the head of the Vedangas.
परम्परा
The eye of the Veda
Jyotish is one of the six Vedangas and is called the eye of the Veda. Its purpose is to see time: when to begin, when to marry, when to wait.
We follow the Parashari tradition of the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra. That means the lagna and the Moon, the twelve houses and their lords, the twenty-seven nakshatras, the divisional charts, and the Dasha periods that set the timing of a life.
