Vedic Sadhu ("we", "us") prepares Jyotish and Vaastu reports. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and to respect the rights of customers abroad, including those under the GDPR.
What we collect
- Birth details: name, gender, date, time and place of birth, and how exact the time is. For matching, these details for both people.
- Home details (Vaastu): your floor plan, compass photo, room labels and any notes.
- Contact details: your email address, and your phone number if you write to us on WhatsApp.
- Payment records: the amount, date and a reference from the payment provider. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are processed by [Razorpay / PayPal / Lemon Squeezy] under their own privacy policies.
Why we use it
Only to prepare and deliver the report you ordered, to answer your questions about it, and to keep the records required by law for payments and taxes. We do not use your details for advertising, and we never sell or share them with anyone except the service providers who help us deliver your order (payment processing, email delivery, hosting).
Birth details shared for someone else
If you order a matching report or a reading for another person, please make sure they are happy for you to share their details with us.
How long we keep it
We keep your order details for [12 months] after delivery so that we can answer follow-up questions or re-send your report. Payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. After that, birth details and plans are deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of the request. [If you add analytics, describe it here.]
Your rights
You may ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You may also withdraw consent for us to process it, though we then cannot prepare a report. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Your details are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored with access limited to the people preparing your report.
